About Us - Duncan, Craig and Hudson aka David Bow-Wowie on Jilly Coopers Rivals 2
Duncan’s introduction to hospitality came early. At 17, while studying business, he rang a small village hotel asking for work. From day one, he was involved in everything. Weddings, bars, rooms, food, front of house. Long shifts taught him how a house really runs and why good hospitality only works when it feels natural.
A long career in helping companies source funding followed. Duncan moved quickly through the ranks, from branch clerk to divisional manager, before co-founding City Capital in London. He spent the next two decades building the business from the centre of the city. Alongside this, he developed a strong interest in property, buying and renovating homes with close attention to layout, detail and how a space feels to live in.

Craig’s background spans science, people and food. He holds a PhD in surface chemistry and built an international career across finance, recruitment and senior People and Culture roles. Work took him around the world, often far from familiar routes. Those experiences shaped how he cooks and how he hosts. His food is straightforward, generous and relaxed. Time around the table matters.

Together, we travelled widely, staying in places we admired and noticing what worked and what did not. Over time, those conversations turned into a clear idea of how we wanted to host.
Kingsley House reflects that thinking. The house matters, but people matter more. We believe good hospitality comes from noticing the small things.
We live here with our Great Dane, Hudson and host personally.
From Haslemere to Hollywood: Our Dog Hudson Stars in Jilly Cooper's Rivals Season 2
Move over, Rupert Campbell-Black. There's a new heartthrob in Rutshire — and he's got four legs.
We're absolutely bursting with pride (and biscuits) to announce that Hudson, our very own Kingsley House resident, has made his TV debut in Jilly Cooper's Rivals Season 2 — currently streaming on Disney+ — playing none other than the gloriously named David Bow-Wowie.
Yes, you read that correctly. David. Bow. Wowie.
